Yarennoka Update: Shinya Aoki vs. Judoka Bu-Kyung Jung
By CagE | December 27, 2007

According to Yahoo Sports Japan, Shin’ya Aoki will fight Judoka Bu-Kyung Jung in the much anticipated Yarennoka NYE show at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan . Bu-Kyung Jung will fill the spot of the injured Gesias “JZ Calvan” Calvancante.
Bu-Kyung Jung won the silver medal in Judo at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, but I could not find any record of previous fights in MMA.
Not the matchup that Shinya Aoki vs. JZ Calvancante would have been, but Aoki is always interesting to watch.

I don’t think you can replace JZ with a good fighter last minute like this. Judo champ huh, well hopefully he knows a little of the ground game before he gets gogo’d by Aoki. Gogo’d by a guy wearing pink tights.
