By CagE | August 21, 2007

jens pulver out of WEC 30

Sherdog.com is reporting that Jen Pulvers camp has told them, Jens suffered a knee injury and would be forced to withdraw from the main event at WEC 30. Jen Pulver vs Cub Swanson was to be Pulvers debut in the WEC featherweight division. A MRI later this week will determine if Pulver will need surgery or just physical therapy.

former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver (Pictures) (21-8-1) has been indefinitely put on hold, sources close to the Miletich champ told Sherdog.com Monday evening, due to a knee injury suffered by the popular fighter last Friday.
