WEC News: Ariel Gandulla Tests Positive for Steroids

    By CagE | December 21, 2007

The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) has announced that Ariel Gandulla tested positive for the anabolic steroid Nandrolone following his loss at WEC 31.

Gandulla was defeated by submission to the WEC Light Heavyweight Champion Doug Marshall at WEC 31: Faber vs Curran on December 12.

Gandulla has twenty days to appeal the decision.

A quick side note, nandrolone metabolite is the same anabolic steroid that Former UFC Lightweight Champion Sean Sherk was busted with.

That guy did look pretty big. Not a lot of good steroids did for him, he got dropped and submitted pretty quick in that fight.
