Dana has some big news coming out of LA……. he says it will change MMA and the UFC forever…… Could it be the signing of FEDOR?????? I hope so, this way we can put all of this banter behind us and let the cage and 4oz gloves do the talking.

It’s not the weight classes, because Dana says at the beginning that WEC is for lights, and UFC is for mids to heavies. So it won’t be that.
And you’re right, Dane, he’s not talking about Kimbo.
But he said out of Los Angeles.
Change the UFC forever…and MMA? Hmmmmm…
- Fedor signing could be it, but CHANGE the UFC forever?
- Affliction merging with them could be one thing, because Affliction is out in L.A., which then would be in effect getting Fedor.
- Sounds like a corporate deal, though, more than a single signing. I think it will probably be something with major networks, like CBS did with ProElite.
- Could also be adding a women’s division, maybe? But Dana seemed against that idea in previous blogs.
I’m going to go with a Network deal that will bring the UFC to bigger numbers of fans…or Fedor. Nothing else would truly “change the UFC forever.”

kimbo would be shitting in his pants if fedor joined the TUF 10 cast. fedor would wipe out not only the entire cast and take the crown, but then come for HW champ lesnar (or mir if he has the belt).

69 is right about Fedor never going to TUF. That would be an insult for Dana to ask him to “win” his way into the UFC. He’s making Kimbo do it, because Kimbo never did anything in MMA and Dana said he won’t take street fighters.

I think if Fedor ever went to the UFC he should NOT get a title shot immediately. I think he should fight at least the top contender before the champ. I think you have to at least win ONE fight before you fight for an organization’s title, no matter who you are.
