Other than it made a lot of money I don’t see why they’re fighting again. The first match wasn’t even close.

I hear ya! I really like both of them but does anyone think that the outcome will be any different than their first meeting? Honestly, I would rather see Jens fight Brown…not because Jens should have a title shot but I think it will be a better brawl.

i agree with you all. faber is a bad matchup for jens but jens would have a good chance at brown. anyone who saw the first fight saw pulvers heart but i never thought faber was in trouble.

do we really want to see him get his ass kicked again?

i think jens is close to done as far as being in the top of the devision and this is just one more good pay day for him and a good match up for faber to get a win.

This is the wrong fight for both of these guys. This does nothing for Faber even if he wins, but god forbid he gets caught by pulver, this could seriously throw faber into that Chuck Liddell catagory where he keeps trying to climb back. Faber needs to fight a top contender once or twice and then go for the title. This is a bad move.

should be better then the first tom..

but the fight should be faber vs gracia

I agree tom faber vs garcia is the fight that should have been made. But this is all about the money.

This is a terrible rematch!

I don’t think it’s that bad of a matchup. I thought the first fight was closer than you all say. Faber couldn’t finish him and either one could have been caught in the chin anytime. After watching Faber/Brown, you can see there are a couple holes in Faber’s standup. Faber also had a hard time taking Jens to the ground. I’m not saying either will win for sure, I’m just saying I think it was closer than you all are giving it credit for, and I think next time it will be better.

I totally agree with Ryan. When was the last time Faber went 5 rounds?!?
December 2nd, 2008 at 7:35 am
I also agree with Ryan, Faber couldent keep jens on the mat or finish him, their first bout was a great 5 round slug fest, that made you watch to see who was going to get that finishing knockout if there were to be one.

yeah, maybe garcia-faber would be a better fight, but guess what; faber lost his last match and garcia didn’t, that means garcia gets a title shot. if faber takes pulver again than he will get his chance at the winner of garcia-brown. Its not all about the money, its all about winning and losing. you guys sound like idiots, hardly real fight fans.
