WEC 33 News: New Fights Added To Fill in For Filho
By CagE | March 19, 2008

World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) has done some rearranging after WEC middleweight champion Paulo Filho camp has announced his departure to rehab, leaving Chael Sonnen opponent less.
Logan ” The Pink Pounder” Clark was originally set to face Bryan Baker, but the WEC has promoted Bryan Baker to fill in for Paulo Filho and face Chael Sonnen.
According to Logan Clark, he will now take on Scott Harper at WEC 33.
“Since the WEC was having difficult time finding someone to fight Sonnen on short notice……they have decided to bump Bryan Baker up to fighting Sonnen since he is an undefeated WEC contender who might be able to give Sonnen a good challenge.”
“Scott may have a few losses but hasn’t dropped a fight since joining American Top Team this last year…….He is on a three-fight win streak with three submission stoppages. He looks to have a good ground game but not exceptional stand-up. This means that I will be able to stick with my previous game plan and look for the knockout standing.”
