WEC 29: Paulo Filho vs. Joe Doerksen

According to MMA on Tap, Pride FC badass Paulo Filho (14-0) will take on fellow Pride veteran Joe Doerksen at World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) 29 on August 5. Last weeks Filho was expected to sign a UFC contract and now Doerksen has reportedly signed a three fight contract with the WEC. Filho a member of the Brazilian Top Team, is undefeated in mixed martial arts and is considered by many to be one of the best in the world at the middleweight division. Filho is rumored to have a 3 fight contract with the WEC, possibly before moving up to the UFC where he rightfully belongs. Doerksen (39-9) a MMA veteran who has managed to gather a 7 fight win streak, will have his gloves full in taking on Paulo Filho.
