McFedries and Tavares are going to be top competitiors in their weight classes. I would like to see Tavares take on Joe Stevenson and the winner of that bout get a shot at the lightweight title.

Was Anthony Johnson’s pre-fight comment of “when I spank you on your ass and send you back home to momma, dont be cryin and say I got whooped by a black man” really necessary? I found it rather racist and irrelevant. I have never heard a fighter need to point out his race in such a way. I dont recall Anderson Silva reminding Rich Franklin he was a “black man” before their fight. I guess Mr Johnson is just a classless person who chooses to see color and race in a day and age when the World is taught to be colorblind. Fortunately the World and all of its various races and religions ARE taught to see stupidity and Mr Johnson you are just that.

If you look at the UFC in the past year, they seem to reward trash talkers and like it when fighters create their personal vendettas with each other. I don’t like it either, put up or shut up, but now thats the way it is going to be. Fighters will do or say anything if it will get them more attention and more money.

I’m glad you put up the Fisher vs. Stout fight. To be honest this is the first fight night that I didn’t watch, but now that I see what I missed, I was dead wrong. It was one of the best Fight Night’s.
Fisher looks better than ever and he has something that is unique among fighters. He has natural fighting instinct, which is something that you have to be born with. I don’t think that Stout has that, but he is really tough and has good technique, which comes with a ton of training.
