I’m not a fortune teller, but i don’t see Brock really becoming a “stand up fighter”. He has all the power in the world to take just about anybody down at will and ground and pound. I see him perfecting what he’s comfortable with. I also understand MMA is more than wrestling, but i’ve also seen it’s a damn good help. Once he learns all the hows to avoid submissions i still stand by what i’ve said before. He will become one of the all time greats.

Please kimbo would kill brock in a stand up fight, you will see when he fights herring if he stands at all he will get knocked out.You guys act like oh he fights champs and vets, he has had 1 real fight and lost to a weak champ who never defended the belt and would have lost it anyway.Herring is more of a test than mir was and he will lose again and start fighting worse fighters than kimbo does or he will quit mma once he takes one beating.

I agree with you guys. I’m not saying Kimbo sucks because I have never seen him in a real fight. But I had some high expectations for Brock because I saw how big and fast he was before. Even though he lost he exceeded my expectations. I think Brock is too big for Kimbo unless Kimbo somehow has a great ground game.

fuck ya and brock did make the team but he got cut because he got in a motorcycle accident and was still offered to be part of nfl europe. look it up brian before u spout off on shit. kimbo just played highschool football. his reach is rediculously shorter. he weighs 235 and brock weighs 290. i would definetly put my money on brock and u say he’s untested? if the ref didnt stop the figh he would have tko’d mir he was beating his ass and even after it got restarted he knocked mir down with a fuckin jab. the comparison between brock adn kimbo is laughable at best.

You first say that Kimbo would kick brock ass then go on about Kimbo and Lesnar both being unproven fighters ROFL.

Kimbo beats guys with losing records. Brock fights former champions so that comparsion is pretty retarded.

Kimbo is not a real MMA fighter a street fighter ok I give you that.

In MMA there are takedowns/submissions not just stand-up. MMA is about the complete package not just stand-up or wrestling but who can do all those things the best.

So you should take some your own advice and shut up till your buddy Kimbo fights a real MMA fight.
FYI if it was just a stand-up battle Brock still KO’s Kimbo with hes longer reach and bigger power.

Kimbo would kick brocks ass in a stand up fight, and they are similar in that they are both over hyped and unproven.Brock went to a nfl training camp because of his name nothing else and did not and would not have ever made the team.As far as his WWE who gives a shit i never watched it, Brock is a really wrestler and kimbo is a real fighter.Brock might be good and kimbo might be good but shut up till Brock wins a fight and kimbo beats a tough fighter.
