I think Alves can pose a pretty good threat to GSP on the feet. I hope he can handle GSP’s takedowns though.

totaly agree with every one i think this is gonna be the biggest test for gsp alves power is way above anyone else at ww and gsp has shown that he can be ko’d but gsp is on another level when it comes to skill (and he’s still tough as fuk on top of that) im going with gsp providing alves dosnt get the ko and if gsp beats alves i dont think theres no one else who can beat him at ww maybe a moove to mw

alves’ takedown defense has looked really good against Karo, Hughes, and Kos. i hope its as good as it has looked cuz he will need it against GSP. Alves does not wanna be on his back with GSP. i think Alves will do a lot better than people think.

Well One problem that GSP is gonna Have is that He has never faced a Big strong guy like thiago. I mean that guy walks around 210. the last fight he had problems cutting to 170. His take down defense has approved a lot and his legs kicks are one of the best in the business. I think GSP is gonna have problems with this guy on his feet. But definately I think GSP will submit him if it goes to the ground. GSP better watch that chin though!
