Quinton rampage Jackson explains arrest

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson gives an insight to what happened before his arrest for evading police following his fight with Forrest Griffin at UFC 86.

Quinton claims police chastised him, took pictures and called friends the night of the arrest. He also goes into being betrayed by a true friend (Juanito Ibbara).

He claims he was delusional after fasting, drinking energy drinks and not sleeping.

Rampage has pleaded NOT GUILTY to two Felony charges and four mistermeaner charges as a results of the nights events.

  1. Thats a pretty crazy interview. Its hard to keep up with all of Rampage's thoughts but it explains a lot of what happened. He was delusional and thought he was racing to save his friend.

  2. I don't think I believe it. It took kind of long to come out. Not to mention, I have known some people who have fasted for a week or two at a time and delusions weren't a problem for him. By the way, why was he fasting. Nothing good healthwise comes from that.

  3. i can't say i don't believe it. i've seen too many people on some kind of drugs who were just as wacked out or worse than that. if a drug can make you do dumb stuff why cant this. no sleep, full of caffine, not eating. don't get me wrong i think he flipped, delusional or not. but hopefully he has his head right now.

who is he talking about when he says a friend that betrayed him? is that juanito?

  4. hmm?

not sure about that one…just thought it was an act before…he might just be a nut job …hmm?

  5. Doesnt really matter if he is telling the truth or not. I just want to see him fight again.

  6. I'm with Steve, I don't need any explainations about his personal life. Thats his business and it's his business to get it taken care of. I just want to see him fight because he is exciting as hell.

  7. richaaron says:

A good friend of mine was in Vegas for 3 days and was up the entire time on Red Bulls. He doesn't do any drugs and rarely drinks (alcohol).

When he finally left and was in the car on the way home, he blacked out. He came to on the side of the highway where he was pacing back and forth on the road with bare feet.

Long story short, the cops and paramedics arrived and they had to treat him for massive dehydration and burns to the bottom of his feet. To this day, he has hardly any recollection of the whole ordeal. According to his friends, he was in this blackout for about 3-5 hours….

  8. I will only care bout his business if it affects his professional career. In this case it does because if he is charged and convicted = no fighting. However, I am convinced that he will beat the courts and avoid any type of suspension, lay off, or jail time. After all he is a celebrity that brings money into the U.S.

  9. Nichole Lesniak says:

He also said he heard God and he was trying to save a friend who had lost faith…..

  10. One way or the other he flipped. I don't know what went down with Juanito, that might take some time to come out. I just hope he clean up and istunn is right, I wouldn't be suprised if he gets off with probation.
