Serra got lucky if u wacth the fight closly right when they trade a couple punches. He cacthes GSP with a SCraping Rabbit punch to the neck of GSP as he’s Ducking, and Gsp has a delayed reaction. If you wacth closer to gsp’s feet they slide like he’s doing the running man, and the rest is history. I bet u he won’t duck a smaller fighter the next time they meet.

I am a big GSP fan as everyone else seems to be these days. I do back GSP to win this fight but i also thought that in the last fight. Serra has top notch BJJ and heavy hands. Therefore if and when GSP takes him down he will be dangerous off his back. Also in the stand up he will also be dangerous. I do still think GSP will win this fight as he “has trained to fight and army” hahaha!

I don’t hate Serra, and at the same time, I don’t care if I sound like it, or you guys think I’m a “hater”. I think he got lucky. Big deal!! If he wins again I’ll hand it to him. I’ll rethink my opinion of his skill level. Until then, my opinion will remain unchanged.

Serra is a good ass fighter but just like Anderson Silva, GSP is just on another level. The new breed of fighters will aim for where he is at. In that fight Serra didn’t do a Brock Lesnar and just try to pummel someone as quick as possible. he placed his shots and was patient and put a great fighter away. I have a lot of respect for Serra in that win. But right now, my money is on GSP.

i would not call it lucky like nick said he hit him with a good punch then stood back and cut gsp down with many punches it was not a one punch knock out so was it a lucky several punches?and some one said he has only fought so-so fighters are din thomas b.j pen and gsp so so fighters.serra went the distance with b.j. and looked good.after saying all that i think gsp will kill him but i thought that the first time too.

Joe you sound just like a Serra hater still calling him lucky.
No respect still acting like he pulled a slot handle and GSP just fell over please tell me fighting isn’t that easy.
I hope GSP gets hes belt back but if Serra happens to knock GSP out again i’m sure you will say its from a lucky punch and have nothing to do with skill. Yes skill haha how funny.

Well, if you’re asking me, I don’t hate Serra. I like him. as a person and a fighter. I just think he got lucky. (Ha I said it again.) I do see a lot of Serra haters to though. I think it has a lot to do with his annoying voice.

I agree… Matt Serra will not Beat GSP this time unless he gets really lucky.. Having said that, there seems to be a lot of Serra Haters out there… Why??

I thought he came accross as a decent/funny guy on the TUF shows… In fact I think Matt Hughes came accross as an arse…and I would have liked to have seen Serra beat Hughes (I that’s possible of course)
