What a liar, nobody thinks Jake Shields is the best 170 lb fighter in the world over GSP! False confidence and promoting right there.

It’s no secret that EliteXC is very minor league. Rob Lawler and Scott Smith are UFC wash outs. This guy should get shot for even pretending one of his champs is better then one of the UFC (real) champs.
The only organization that can claim a legit champ outside UFC is Affliction with Fedor as the HW champ.

agreed. the only org that can compete with the UFC is affliction… in terms of talent. elitexc has crap fighters. kimbo is all hype. robbie lawler and scott smith are just boxers and display absoultely no mma skills. jake shields as the number 1 170lber in the world?? haha. we all know GSP in the UFC is the P4P 170lber. if not GSP, then bj penn. and let’s not forget about diego sanchez, jon fitch, koscheck, etc. all of whom who would school jake shields.

i think elite has plenty of talent if they just join all of their shows together…shoelite, strikeforce, etc.

your wrong about robbie he fought in the ufc when he was 22yrs old and did ok, he has got alot better and could hang with any 185lber except silva who nobody in the ufc can either. and jake shields is the real deal, can he beat gsp, probally not but i would bet money that he can beat most of the other ww in the ufc.

Claiming that the fighters you sign are the best in the world is so Dana-like.
