for some reason i’m getting scared for aa. he better be the sharpest he has ever been for this fight. or else, it could be a very short night for him. i know that some time fedor will lose ground but i don’t see it happening rite now in his career. i hope it will be a war though.

I hope AA puts Fedor away just so people will shut up about Fedor.
January 16th, 2009 at 8:09 am
AA will not put Fedor away. It is just not going to happen. I dont see this fight going past round one. I am not saying Fedor is some kind of superman that cant be beaten. Everyone can be beaten we just have not seen the person that has Fedors number yet. For all the Fedor haters out there be patient. Just like every great fighter there will be a day and a time when they meet their match.

There is only one person who can destroy Fedor and that is Fedor’s identical twin brother. But it just happens since he wasn’t born there will be none to beat the last Emperor.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA AA BEAT FEDOE FFS CMON TIM HE COULDNT BEAT TIM SILVIA THE LAST 2 TIMES AND IT ONLY TOOK FEDOR 30 SECONDS TO DO THAT FACTS SPEEK FOR THEM SELFS

Stop being so hung on his nuts dude everyone can lose and AA can and very well could beat Fedor saturday, they are both Sambo champs in their days and AA is much better on his feet and AA has never been submitted so hopefully this will be a tough test for Fedor but dont be surprised if AA wins but Fedor will probably win. i just never doubt a fighter.

heres what mir had to say about fedor
UFC champion Frank Mir talks Fedor
Publish date: January, 19, 2009
“Fedor’s the best heavyweight in the world. I hope one day I could fight him and do well, but right now he’s better than I am. As a martial artist you have to be truthful about yourself so you can approach your training properly and get better. Fedor has great killer instinct, he’s tough, he’s strong. If I fought him I’d try to catch him in a submission, but I don’t know if Fedor can be beaten. He’s the best heavyweight.”

No argue with that, Fedor is defiently better than Mir by Far….but the best HWGHT in the world…thats arguable but definetly a legend although he has only fought twice in the states, well 3 times after Saturday as well as 15 of his wins have come against no bodies and thats the main reason i think there is such a disarray on him, surely he is great fighter but even he can be beaten but maybe he is in a era like Marciano was where everyone he faced he beat and than retired before he could get beaten, but he was 49-0 and i do not think Fedor will ever get that win complilation as that is 20 plus more wins eqaul to at least 7-15 more years of fighting depending upon how many times a year he fights, plus he already has a loss under him…a loss is a loss by any means in fighting a arguable loss yes but its still a loss. Questions remaning will AA beat the so called Phenom Fedor? or will Fedor get tested and lose. Good luck to both i just hope its a good fight.

if you want to talk records doesnt Jeremy Horn have a record of like 80-19-2? now some would think thats outstanding while others would think different.
January 20th, 2009 at 1:49 pm
horn has a great record another legend in the sport he is near the end of his career. don’t hate tim JOIN US and together we can praise fedor.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:44 pm
I have no hate for Fedor the man is unbelievable i just think he is more hype than what comes to be…i think he can be beat…but i hope we just dont see him retire too soon as well to let that first loss come around.
January 20th, 2009 at 3:58 pm
It is true that AA has not been submitted. But the UFC fighters he faced were not submission masters like Fedor, Nog or even Mir. AA has a suspect chin at best and Fedor throws just as hard as he does. i watched Big Roy side mount AA and almost sink in a shoulder lock(kimura) before the ref inexplicably stood them up. If Fedor gets him down it is over. I really hope AA is in prime shape and hurts Fedor. I want Fedor to win but it seems no one gives him his due when he crushes quality opponents in an easy and quick manner. fedor will probably destroy AA but I want a real standup war to see both of them perform at a high level.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:14 pm
With all due respect Fedor hasnt faced top level UFC talent except for NOG and well thats it…truthfully speaking Sylvia was just a big dumb tall and long reach guy who used that to his advantage but as soon as people started to figure him out ala Randy Couture, AA, he has been beaten every time. Give Fedor his dues the man is great but surely not unbeatable…If fedor beats AA in dominating fashion than i will admit Fedor is great…and alot of questions could be answered this Saturday for both fighters…i hope its a war and not a one sided one.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:28 pm
May i say hasnt face any current top level UFC fighters…Bottom line Fedor is great but can be beat.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:33 pm
serious though tim who in the ufc should he fight, you call them top talent, who in the ufc hw devision is top talent?
nog- already beat him in his prime
randy- legend but probally well past his prime
mir- not sold on him
lesnar- the only one worth fighting but still to green
who else is there thats worth a dam?
kongo-striker no match
gonzaga- tough but gasses and lost to werdum
herring-he beat kongo and i think he would beat mir and fedor already beat him.
who else is there that worth mentioning.
cain-few years might be great but might not to young and green
carwin-looks real good but he is 35 and has fought no one yet well see after his fight with gonzaga where he is at.
thats the ufc hw devision so maybe a fight with lesnar and thats it no one there would do a thing to prove fedor better.
outside the ufc
aa- great fighter probally at his best right now.
barnett-constant top 5 hw his whole career
big foot-would be a nice fight
overeem-maybe going to the ufc but not there yet
sergie-great fighter
i think he would be better off outside the ufc.
January 20th, 2009 at 4:35 pm
the only reason i would want him to go to the ufc is to shut people up.
January 20th, 2009 at 5:50 pm
Uh Tim U clearly dont know that AAnever did find out how to beat Tim since he lost to him 2 out of 3 times lmao. Bad example. Randy mauled him but in a rematch I dont think that would happen. If u guys dont know AA has been helped out by refs twice with stand ups. Jake O’Brien was beating him at UFC 82 and the refs stood it up. Just like Big Country was. I agree with the stand ups b/c laying no someone not really having them in danger is boring a doesnt prove ur tougher. But if Fedor gets on him like that its over. I complelty agree Roy.
January 21st, 2009 at 8:33 am
And i agree….but that will never happen but people can say all they want Fedor is one of the best fighters out there the top of the top and AA will be a good test for him, i hope its a war and not one sided by either side.
January 21st, 2009 at 10:22 am
I’m gonna name my son Fedor to make his friends piss in their pants.. But AA definitely has a shot.. He can’t just bring his A-game… He has to bring his A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++ game.. Arlovski’s hunger, striking and reach are his best weapons.. But damn, Fedor at the top of the heap, better than anderson silva i believe, got to give it your all AA, it’s not impossible
