Gnarly. If Faber really does walk around at 150-something, then he should drop to 135 for fighting. He'd be a good size then. He can't hang anymore for some reason. Maybe the competition is getting better.

  2. Gotta love how optimistic and levelheaded Faber remains even after a big loss. I think Faber can still hang just fine; he lost to Aldo and Brown but made the 2nd fight against Brown competitive without the use of his hands. I personally believe that Faber is the 2nd best guy in the weight class (he just happens to be a very distant 2nd).

It's hard not to like Faber. He's tough, cool and has a great outlook on things. I've always been a fan of his, but he's beginning to get exposed for his (lack of) size at the 145 division. I personally feel the drop to 135 would be good for him, but that's just my opinion. No doubt about it, he's an exciting fighter and a cool bro.

Without question one of the nicest guys in the sport. Met him at WEC 39. We stayed at the same hotel as most of the fighters. He was really cool about taking pics and doing autographs. Just an all around great ambassador for mma. For those who say he is done at 145, some on we lost 3 fights to 2 guys and he was looking like he might take Brown before he broke his hands. He will be back.

  5. he's a class act for sure. i think he's at the top of the class but aldo seems to be off the charts. he got a slap in the face today and a local sacramento paper did a story about why he should retire. i was dumb, he's got a lot of great fights ahead of him.
