UFC : UFC Pushing For Madison Square Garden In 2008

By CagE | May 2, 2007

UFC live in Madison Square Garden

In a recent interview on the Scott Ferrall Radio Show on Sirius satellite radio, Dana White said that he is looking to have a UFC event held at Madison Square Garden, sometime in 2008. Mixed Martial Arts in currently banned in New York, but the UFC is aggressively pursuing to have it legalized. This would be a big mile marker for the UFC. MSG is probably the most sought after arena to hold a live event in the world. The UFC seems to be going the PRIDE FC route, by having events held in larger venues. Some PRIDE FC events pulled in some where near 90k spectators. via UFCMania
