I find it hard to say, but I believe this fight may be Rua's last chance to stay relevant at 205 in the UFC. I cant see the loser of this fight ever getting another title shot. There are too many other fighters and these two are both on the back half of their respective careers. I really like Forrest, but I would love to see Shogun eventually earn a second shot at JBJ.

  2. I don't think so. He's one fight out of being the champion so I think he's still pretty relevant in the UFC.

  3. I was really hoping we would get to see forrest rampage 2. But this shouls be another good one too. Griffin is a gamer and shogun should be ready to get back in the saddle after the manhandling jones gave him.

Relevant in the UFC? Yes. Relevant in the 205 title hunt? Probably not if he loses. Rumor on MMAJunkie radio he's contmeplating going down to 185 if he doesnt beat Forrest. For the record, I dont think he'll lose. Shogun's first fight after recovering after an injury is always a bad one. Personally, I'd like to see him beat up on Forrest and get back into it with JBJ.

  5. Rua has no chance at beatting bones. 10 out of 10 times he will lose that fight. I fact not many people do. I know Bones will be champ for awile.

Just like GSP no one has had a chance at beatting him in last few years. The next fighter that is coming up is Anthony rumble Johnson. before his eye was poked in that shitty fight with Kos he was making waves. He will be next champ in my opinion if anyone has a chance.
