UFC News: Roger Huerta Signs New Five Fight Contract With The UFC

By CagE | December 10, 2008

Out of the dog house, UFC lightweight Roger “El Matador” Huerta has signed a new five fight contract with the UFC, according to MMAWeekly.

Huerta caught some flack for speaking out about the UFC pay structure in an interview with Fight Magazine.

“All I was saying, is that as a business decision – and you can’t argue about this – it’s in all businesses…If another company offers you something better for you and your family, you would do that. It’s the logical thing to do, and that’s all I was saying.”

Huerta is expected to return to the cage sometime in March.

Dana White is Huerta’s “daddy”. I hate when guys bitch then back down from their original statements.

Watch how this plays out. I can see him getting dropped for losing in another lackluster performance ie..vs florian. Then he’ll start bitching about how much he is paid and how dana runs things.

I like him. I’m glad he stayed. Everyone seems to bite his head off for one bad fight, what about his fights before that?

Jom miller should be do for a pretty good fight now. I’d say the winner or loser of diaz guida. Or he replaces anyone who is injured again in the same situation.
