By CagE | September 28, 2007

According to MMAWeekly, UFC veteran Din Thomas will probably have to go under the knife for an knee injury suffered at UFC Fight Night 11. During the fight with Kenny Florian, Din shot for a takedown and clearly injured his knee. Din has publicly stated that he wants a rematch with Kenny Florian as soon as possible.
Thomas appeared to suffer the knee injury when shooting in for an unsuccessful wrestling takedown on Florian. Moments later, Florian was on his back peppering him with punches and then locking in a rear naked choke for the submission.
Results from an MRI showed that Thomas suffered a torn meniscus, stretched anterior cruciate ligament, and bruised femur and tibia.
