Why doesn’t fertitta step up and sue kage kombat for using the octagon and claiming for years the octagon originator not the imitator. They go after everyone else. They sued TFA for octagon use. They charge anyone that uses the octagon a license fee. The only one that is left alone is kage kombat. Kage Kombat also does an event called octagon contenders and the ufc can’t or won’t do anything. This must mean all the claims by the ufc must be false. Maybe they believe if it goes to court all the truth will come out.

This country was built on the working man spirit. I am a working man. I belong to the longshoremans union Local 13, one of the biggest and most powerful unions in the world. At least the NBA, NFL, MLB, and the NHL have a union to protect the athletes from corporate greed. Did you know that the California State Athletic Commission has taken money from the fighters pension fund in California.

Move to some socialist country kazja. Randy Couture didn’t seem to be terribly exploited with his six figure paychecks. He most certainly helped build the UFC, but the UFC also helped him make a recognizable name for himself so that he could sell a clothing line at all.

roy, I know alot about the ultimate pankration event at morongo in 2001. They used an octagon boxing ring. The promoter was alexander bear. The Mongols broke up the event.

i thought it was ultimate athlete that promoted it a john p or something.it was a good show till the mongols started a riot i was there.

Thomas, This is why the corporate world is taking over the American Workers. No one cares about the working man anymore. Now if a worker strikes for better wages, medical and a better life are you going to kick him to the street because you fill it’s American business.
