UFC Is Coming to Oklahoma City In The Near Future
By CagE | July 1, 2008
The UFC is coming to Oklahoma City in the next six to eight months? That’s what UFC President Dana White said at last Thursday’s Associated Press Sports Editors convention in Minneapolis.
According to the report, the Oklahoma affiliate drew the highest rating of all CBS affiliates for the “EliteXC Primetime” event, scoring a 11.1 share during the Kimbo Slice vs. James Thompson main event.
The Ford Center with a capacity of 19,599, would likely be the venue of choice for the UFC.

PEr the article…”According to the report, the Oklahoma affiliate drew the highest rating of all CBS affiliates for the “EliteXC Primetime” event, scoring a 11.1 share during the Kimbo Slice vs. James Thompson main event.”
The rating was most likely due to people tuning in to see Kimbo get his ass handed to him and perform horribly against a tomato can and then watch his ear explode.
