UFC Fight Night 18 “Condit vs Kampmann” Weigh-In Results

By CagE | April 1, 2009

condit-kampman

UFC Fight Night 18 “Condit vs Kampmann” from the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Weigh-Ins went off yesterday with a couple of hitches. First off, lightweights Jeremy Stephens and Gleson Tibau came in over the 156 lb. weight limit. The fight will still take place, but now at a catchweight of 158 lbs.

Second, Ryan Jensen told the commission he was using the drug Adderall (used to treat his Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). The Athletic Commission (Tennessee) apparently had an issue with the use of the drug or the proper paper work was not filed correctly and they cancelled the fight.

MAIN CARD

Carlos Condit (170.5) vs. Martin Kampmann (170)
Ryan Bader (206) vs. Carmelo Marrero (205)
Rafael dos Anjos (156) vs. Tyson Griffin (156)
Junie Browning (156) vs. Cole Miller (156)

PRELIMINARY CARD

CANCELLED FIGHTS

Ryan Jensen (186) vs. Steve Steinbeiss (186)*

* Fight canceled after Ryan Jensen disclosed the use of the banned substance Adderall (Psychostimulant).
** Both Jeremy Stephens and Gleison Tibau came in heavy, so the fight will take place at a catchweight of 158 lbs.
