UFC Fight Night 13: Spencer Fisher vs. Marcus Aurelio

MMAJunkie is reporting that lightweights Spencer Fisher will take on Marcus Aurelio at UFC Fight Night 13 on April 2 possibly in Denver, Colorado.
Sources closes to both fighters told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that the rumored bout has been accepted by both fighters.
UFC Fight Night 13, which serves as a lead-in for the upcoming seventh season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” will likely take place in or near Denver, Colo. However, bout agreements probably won’t be signed until a venue has been finalized.

This is a much better matchup for Fisher who got dominated by Frankie Edgar. Aurilio is tough as hell and I think it will be a good fight. I don’t see either fighter finishing the other in the first.

i wasnt impressed at all with spencer against franki… but i dont think marcus has anywhere near the take downs that frankie has… and spencer has good bjj… i think spencer will get back on the winning track with a knockout

I thought Spencer was going to be the sleeper hit of that UFC even though he was an underdog in that fight. Its not that he’s not good, its just that Frankie Edgar is way way better than I thought. This should be a good fight for sure.

frankie is a tough wrestler if you can’t wrestle with him he will make you look bad.
