UFC Fight Night 13 News: Fisher Out With Injury
By CagE | March 17, 2008

According to Sherdog, Spencer Fisher was forced to withdraw from his lightweight fight with Marcus Aurelio at UFC Fight Night 13, due to a shoulder injury he suffered in training.
In to replace Fisher is UFC newcomer Jim Miller (10-1) who’s only loss is to UFC contender Frank Edgar at Reality Fighting 14 in 2006.
Fishers Manager Monty Cox:
“Spencer is the kind of fighter who has fought plenty of fights with injuries and Marcus Aurelio is not the kind of fighter you want to fight at 80 percent….He was willing to fight but we decided it just was not a smart decision.”
UFC Fight Night 13 is to take place on April 2 from the Broomfield Event Center in Broomfield, Colorado.

i like spencer to fight anyone but a wrestler. that edgar fight was pretty disappointing. i hope he learns how to handle those guys because the LW division is stacked with talented wrestlers.
