THEY ARE JUST T-SHIRTS. Thats like everyone freaking out about lebron james wearing a yankees hat... hes going to the Knicks. PEOPLE ARE STUPID AND ITS PAINFUL TO WATCH. Man its amazing that it wasnt a big deal until they started taking money out of Danas pocket, for the record if that doushe bag died I would say I suppose he had it coming, hes just a world class asshole. I realize its a conflict of interest but heres my problem. Take a guy like kieth Jardine for instance. His last fight Wandi almost killed him. He made what 10-20K WOW THATS WORTH IT. They dont cover health care, dont pay for there travel, how do they make money. ENDORSEMENTS, and how does Dana repay the guys that put there ass on the line to keep him on TV cut the biggest sponsor any of the fighters can get. Makes sense to me???? I agree with some of the above comments. The Fertitas better put there dog on a leash and start doing the work themselves before he burys this company.

I can't blame the UFC for booting Affliction...they're involved heavily with the UFC fighters and then looking to start their own fighting organization...you can't let them remain on your platform, promote their products and then potentially take your fighters after they've continued to develop relationships with them.

That said, it looks like Affliction is going to be paying some big money for big fights...the UFC will need to get into this same level of money or risk (risk may not be the word...be ready to accept is better) losing their fighters who realize they need to pay bills and make money as quickly as possible. Couture is the exception rather than the rule...fighters usually don't stay competitivie as long as he has...he's, well, the Natural.

Wake up UFC...unless you're sleeping and don't see what everyone is writing here, you're losing fighters, fans...possibly everything unless you adapt to this new level of competition...looks like you've just given up your back and about to be submitted!

It is their best interest but Dana (The Cocksucker) is going a little far. What did he expect when the UFC took off???? There is always going to be competition, and you have to adapt and adjust as any business man would in any business. He's nervous though becuase these other fight organizations are willing to pay more than what Dana's tight ass will. Time to step up to the plate Dana before you ruin the UFC for all of us fans.

i love seeing these guys get paid for what they do, but your right with the money comes all the problems and it ends up being about the money and not the sport or the fans.

Dana is trying to set an example with Couture and anything associated with him. He might say in interviews how he doesn't see any other corporation will ever rise to the UFC level, but his actions say he's scared of having to share the sport.

I get what you guys are saying, but imagine if you're watching IFL or Elite XC and all the fighters came out wearing UFC shirts. It's not a bad thing, but I can see the conflict from the organization's standpoint. Having said that, let me go on record saying Dana White is a cock and he doesn't operate above board, so don't get me wrong. I'm not sticking up for him. It's just not smart to advertise for the competition.

What the shit! Just another example of the UFC trying to strongarm another organization and hamper it before it gets started. Everybody loves affliction, they make some badass clothing. They remind me of a little spoiled kid who doesn't get what he wants and throws a tantrum for it.
