i don't know how people are saying they don't have knockout power i will give you $20 to get hit by either of them. people should just see it as easily the best fight in a few years. just my thoughts thanks.

GSP man handled John Fitch....
And john fitch man handles other guys no problem.

It was a 5 rounder, but anyone who saw that fight, knew GSP wanted to put on a show. Could've ended around 2-3

He could have choked out Fitch numerous times after knocking him to the ground.

GSP keeps fighting bigger guys in Welter, Penn keeps fighting lightweights...GSP will have advantage.

If you spend a year training with a 75LBS punching bag, I don't care how hard you can hit it, once you go to 100LBS bag...its gonna be a difference.

P69 this ones for you. First you see my email says @csufresno.edu california state graduate program psychology. If you don't know that's a masters last semester my friend is that what you mean by education or maybe you are referring to contact sports. Well two years california golden gloves tournament. 15-19 years 145 then moved to 154 don't do it anymore due to school but I will say this I know tons about weight cuts and it's not as bad as evrybody makes it out to be. I'm done arguing with you cause I don't see the point of defending some guy I've only met once so thanks for the insight on the overlooked skills of GSP but I really don't see him winning if he does great maybe he'll call you up and invite you for drinks maybe he won't I guess what I'm getting at is who cares. I still think he looses and this will not persuade my opinion of him. Bye

For one thing GSP wasn't set up for a rematch by the UFC, he was selected by Hughes to fill in for an injured Serra becuase he handed hughes an asswoopin last time they fought. After he beat Hughes again he became the interim champion and Serra had no choice but to defend against him. As far as the dropping weight issue goes, almost everybody cuts 10 or 15 pounds or more to compete at such a high level, you would be crazy not to try and have some size advantage over your opponent. If he were to fight at middleweight he would be facing guys who walk around at over 200. Get some education.

I'm not a huge fan of MMA but I've watched BJ and GSP fight others, and they have both improved since I've started watching. I truly believe BJ will win this fight just because of his versatility. Not to put GSP down, he is a really good fighter, but I think Penn is more well-rounded. I think most people would agree that Penn is the better ground fighter, but stand-up I think they're equal. Penn can take hard ass hits.

Ok so you’re a Hughes fan, which is a good indicator of why you dislike Anderson. Its probably safe to assume that you were in love with Rich Franklin. Would you consider him a crappy fighter as well? I would like to see GSP move up to 185 and face a fighter that is at his natural weight class the guy looks like he dehydrates for days to prep for weigh ins. The guy is not a natural 170 by far and I bet he walks around at like 190 he should be fighting bigger guys. You got it all wrong Anderson then Penn and then maybe Pierre. I like Pierre but he is nowhere near as good a striker as Anderson and years behind on the ground game. I do agree that Anderson has met some weak competition at 185 but that’s why he better move to 205 and take care of the competition there. By the way Matt Hughes was never a good fighter I don’t consider one-dimensional fighters good fighters. Especially him he is such a crybaby and if you saw the sherk fight you would know that Pierre out wrestled the guy because of the previously stated explosiveness that he has not the strikes. I personally don’t care for Sherk but I know good hands when I see them and he has good technical hands they are just to short. LOL. If Pierre gets passed Penn then I would love to see him fight Anderson although I don’t think he’ll drop back down to 185 because I see him going to 205 and winning the belt from those bad bad bad fighters in that weight class. Oh and Penn will probably expose Pierre’s bad defense with some aggression. Come on dude the guy lost to a 5’5 nobody via strikes and bad how is that pound for pound the best by all rights he should have not even gotten a rematch it was so embarrassing.

Yes I followed Silva throughout his career and saw how he could never win a pride belt and sure he is absolty great so there is no point in arguing. U will be proven wrong when he fights a real badass 205er and allthe hype around him will fade. I mean it seems more and more like people are claiming A. Silva to be unbeatable standing. Anyone can get caught and u should remember that.
