UFC 93: Loyoto Michida vs. Thiago Silva
By CagE | September 26, 2008
Tatame.com is reporting that the light heavyweight battle between Loyoto “The Dragon” Michida and Thiago Silva has been rescheduled for UFC 93 “Penn vs. St. Pierre” on January 31 from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
The two were to face off at UFC 89 “Bisping vs. Leben” but the fight was cancelled after Silva reportedly injured his back in training.
The 205-lb fight would put the winner in title contention and a chance at Forrest Griffin in 2009.
