The live gate slaes alone made 4.8 million this isnt counting PPV buys. This is horrible pay compared to any major sport in the world by far even percentage wise. Just making a part of the gate sales and getting basically none of the PPV sales. This is why people want to box instead of mma. If more guy in the UFC could be a boxer then they would lol. The top boxers can make up to 17-20 million a fight. That is a humongous differnece then mma payouts obviously. I still think they should have made way more then that. And I still cant believe that u ould fight in the ufc for a living and be poor. It just goes to show how hard it is to be successful in this business. Seriously making 3k and fighting in the UFC Octagon? It is really pathetic. They need to make atleast maybe 10-20 grand. Atleast let them train fulltime and prepare for the fight lol. Keep in mind that each fighter must pay there Trainers and Camp fees so this could be good or bad depending upon how much you make...not all fighter get paid this much most make between 3-30K a fight plus win bonuses.
