Fighter Payouts for rookies or low class may be low but keep in mind sponsorship deals and marketing promotions. example...a fighter makes 5K a fight plus a bonus if he wins, plus all his sponsorships pay him so he is making about average 20-50K a fight and this is just an example as iknow some make way less and i know its tough but my point is if there wasnt money involved these MMA fighters would not fight at all...they fight for the love but also a paycheck. I understand about the whole Karma thing but guess we are just going to have to wait and see what happens we all know the facts and the abilities of both fighters.

Have you seen the fighter payouts? Not very many are making huge amounts of money so to say that 99% of the MMA fighters wouldn't be fighting is a tiny exaggeration on your part. Maybe nowadays there are more that fight exclusively for the money but what about 5 years ago when there wasn't ANY huge paydays for anyone.

Duh..All fights are about money otherwise 99% of the MMA fighters wouldnt fight. True Dana is very smart and is capitalizing on a major situation. This fight brings tons of talent, current mma lovers and wwe fans to watch MMA and that is Dana' goal to expand the UFC/MMA globally among everyone. This fight in general shouldnt be for a title fight but since Rnady is the champ there is no other choice as the reason Dana let Randy come back and fight was for 3 fights one being against Brock and since he technically is champ it has to be for a title fight. Brock will win and be champ and face Frank Mir and beat him in a rematch...wich is what Dana is hopeing for as that would bring great ratings in...Overall love him or hate him Dana is one smart man. Anaylysis on the fight..it should be great but in the end Brock will become to much for Randy to handle..isee it going either 2nd round TKO Brock or 5 round Decision.

This fight is all about money. Dana White has always been about the money and Randy is proving to be the same way. This is the second time he has tried to "retire" only to come back asking for more money while he was still under contract.

Dana saw this as an opportunity to make HUGE amounts of money , get the loyal Couture fans back in the UFC and keep Randy from signing with somebody else. If Randy wins , he'll be the greatest ever and the legend will continue all while under contract with the UFC. If he loses , then the media circus around Brock will be Dana's new cash cow. It's a win/win situation for Dana which is the only reason it happened.

That was all BS..from what i read someone called the Couture camp acting like Forenzo and said Brock got injured serverly and will not be able to fight...they actually believed it until they called Dana and he said WHAT...Hell no brock is perfectly healthy..FYI i read somewhere that a rumor was started that Randy injured his knee in a bathroom and slipped and fell...So trust me if the ywere injured at all the fight would not happen but these are just rumors.
