Couldn’t agree more with Chris. The UFC will continue to lose top talent (and top draw) fighters with these pathetic pay-outs.
Think about it, with one event, the UFC could put every other competative league out of business. They have the money to quadruple fighter pay. If they did that, just one time, Arlovsky, Fedor, Babalu, Lindland, Barnett, Kimbo, and Couture would all come running to the Octagon.
You’re all being brainwashed into thinking that TUF fighters are the best in the business. Fact is, the UFC’s talent is thin and you’re just subject to a good branding job.

I agree, these guys shouldnt be getting in the ring for less than 20-25K worst case scneario. Like it or not any of these guys is one shot away from being a vegetable for the rest of there life, and it will happen one day, its bad when guys in the ABA and other minor league bball promotions make more money than pro fighters.

I have friends that sit the bench playing pro baseball & Football that make more than these guys will ever make in a year or even in their career. The worst part is, MMA fighters can’t take a break from training like other pro athletes who have seasons. UFC needs to start paying real money to their fighters who bring in Millions for a single event.
