In Brazil they pronounce R’s like H’s. Thats why they pronounce him Hua. I know that Wanderlei sound like Vanderlei so maybe there is something with W’s and V’s there too.

You are correct Tom. I was under the impression the fight was a no contest, due to the cut, but after reviewing the fight I realize it was considered a loss. He is currently 6-1 in the UFC and on a 6 fight win streak within the organization.

This is a little off topic, but is anyone else watching spike right now? They’re showing the Griffin/Rua fight….and I keep hearing them call Rua, HUA….wtf? How do they call him the wrong name?
