UFC 85: Eddie Sanchez To Face Antoni Hardonk, Replaces Wain

By CagE | May 28, 2008

The UFC announces yet another UFC 85 lineup change, Eddie “The Manic Hispanic” Sanchez (10-1) will step in and face Holland native Antoni Hardonk (6-4) in the undercard of UFC 85 “Back to Bedlam” , after Neil Wain was forced to withdraw from his fight with a broken nose.

Sanchez is coming off a two fight UFC winning streak, defeating Colin Robinson by TKO at UFC 72 and Soa Palelei also by TKO at UFC 79.

UFC 85 takes place on June 7, from the O2 Arena in London, England.

Sanchez:

“I think he’s a great kickboxer,….But it’s not a kickboxing match – it’s an MMA fight.”

Hardonk:

“I think he is a tough fighter with good stand up skills, so with my background we can put on a good fight for the fans,”
