its easy to say that after the fight is over. That fight against JARDINE, CHUCK did what he always does wait for openings or until his oppenent makes a mistake like cornering himself or lowering his guard.JARDINE did the right thing he consistantly kept CHUCK at a distance w/ leg and body kicks and when CHUCK rushed in he rocked him and knocked him down. That is the same way to beat WANDERLEI. Don’t let him keep moving forward keep your guard up and stay out of his clinch. Its possible for JARDINE to do that SILVA has not won a fight in a while and has taken some HUGE KO’s in couple of those losses its not easy to come back from that.

poopoo platter you cant compair both fighters fights with chuck. chuck was two totally different fighters on those nights. with jardine he thought jardine wouldnt stand a chance and was chill. he paid for it big time. but with wanderlei he was focused and knew he had a tough match infront of him. had chuck liddell fought as hard aginst jardine as he did wanderlei he would have had a first round ko. girly girl is right wanderleiis way out of jardines league

I gotta agree with PooPoo (eww, that just sounds weird!). Tito is a good competitor, but he’s ALL GNP. Very one-dimensional. Machida will catch him off guard.

And believe me – I’m a huge Jardine fan, but Wanderlei is outta his league

I admit I haven’t watched any of Sherks old fights. Mainly because he has never really interested me in his recent ones. So maybe someone out there could tell me. Does Sherk have a good chin?

I think BJ should push the pace in the first two rounds and try to get a quick finish. I agree with Derek that if it goes to the later rounds Sherk could wear out BJ. But I’m hoping we don’t see another decision.

i hope penn takes it before sherk drags it out to the 4th or 5th rounds, where he’ll have an advantage. i love watching penn’s fights. the guy is amazing.

i think bj penn is favored to win early in the fight, but when it goes into the championship rounds, sherk’s conditioning will kick in. tito may me motivated to win, but i think machida’s style is just too much for tito. machida has beaten the who’s who of peoples, from rich franklin to stephon bonnar to sokoju. wandy-jardine is a toss up for me; both have about the same chin and both will like to throw bombs. jardine is quite active as a puncher, but wandy is quite aggressive. thiago silva should win this one.
