i dont think we will see anderson vs gsp anytime soon… gsp has to prove he can even defend the title if he even beats matt sera… cuz right now his track record with serra aint that good lol. he would have to beat serra, fitch, and karo before even thinking bout goin after silva. By that time i think dan henderson will be champion and anderson will be on the come back trail to getting the middle weight title. if the do however both remain champions for a long time it would be awesome to see them fight somewhere in the middle like at the catchweight of 178. the ufc has done catch weight matches before i.e. royce gracie vs matt hughes.

on a side note if deigo doesnt go to 155 i think he is dumb

I dont know if it could ever happen, if BJ beats stevenson he’s the champ…Dana wouldn’t allow a title holder to move up in weight while being champion…especially to fight another champion or soon to be champion. It would cause to much confusion in the divisions…but still would love to see that fight!!

sounds like b.j. wants another shot at gsp according to a recent interview,i don’t know how soon that would happen he got to get past joe and than probally fight sherk before that could happen.

koshceck is way above mediocre he has great stand up and an even better ground game as he proved vs. diego. Karo is still as good as hes always been and guareenteed he’ll prove that to u in his upcoming fight, BJ Penn when he chooses to be in the WW division is top 2 b ehind GSP, Thiago Alves is still a strong contender, chris lytle, jared rollins…the list keeps going

in all honesty, the welterweight division is limited in its stars. the people i can think of are — diego sanchez (now that he won’t be distracted by the sex with ali), jon fitch, and matt serra (have to name him bc he is current champ). koschek is just mediocre at best. and i can’t even breathe karo’s name anymore bc he is still really mediocre. nate diaz has been inactive for awhile. and that’s it. who else is there at welterweight? and don’t say i forgot matt hughes. he lost to GSP pretty badly, and as long as GSP is champion, hughes will never get that title back.

Good point Realwun…anderson has really never been challenged which is a problem…maybe instead of GSP challengin him and meeting at middleweight, anderson should drop down and be a big welterweight…the fighters are just simly better in that division and could give anderson a real fight…but as much as it would be an unfair fight i would still love to see GSP vs. Silva

I think one day GSP will challenge Anderson Silva. That is if both of them retain their titles for a while. Both are great fighters. Me and Brandon are right on about the P4P rankings. I have Anderson on top right now because he hasn’t even broke a sweat since being in the UFC.

no way that happens…silva has such in advantage in size and reach along with most middleweights…i think gsp should stay at welterweight after he becomes champion due to the immense talent in that division…he will always have a formidable opponent to fight as opposed to being at a disatvantage being a small middleweight with not as much talent in that division

dude, gsp will move up in weight class after beating matt serra. he will move up to fight anderson silva.
