UFC 83 Video: ESPN Getting To Know Georges St-Pierre

  1. i'm a fan of both guys, but just wan to say that you shouldn't count serra out. all his losses all have come by decision, except the freak spinning backfist by shonie carter; serra was winning that fight up to that point, btw. serra has never been submitted. i think a lot of people overlook serra bc he's a small guy with no exceptional striking or wrestling.they sort of take his bjj for granted. but again, i think people don' realize that serra is accomplished in bjj… for example, placing 1st in the pan american world championsips in 99 and then placing 2nd in the ADCC in his weight class. he has other accomplishents as well in bjj. serra knocked out GSP the first time. lucky or not, it happened. i like GSP as well, and if he performs like he did against hughes in the rematch, he should win.

  2. Good points Derek. I didn't know some of those fact and really they dont suprise me. Serra is a tough fighter and I wouldn't be suprised if he somehow has GSP's number like Anderson Silva has Franklins. This is a long time in the making so I'm sick of talking, I want to see what goes down.

  3. richaaron says:

I will never count Serra out of any fight. But if the St. Pierre that beat Matt Hughes shows up, I don't think Serra has a chance. George was absolutely flawless against Matt. This fight could be over in the first 3 minutes of round 1… Rich

  4. i like both fighters…serra more than gsp just cuz of his attitude lol…theres a video on youtube of gsp and serra on a sports show and the host cuts off serra while hes talking and serra just starts being a sarcastic smart ass its funny lol…something tells me serra's gonna pull this one off again…i dont see it going all five
