By CagE | January 20, 2008

andrei arlovski vs Jake O’Brian

According to YahooSports, Andrei Arlovski is likely to fight Jake O’Brien at UFC 82 on March 1 in Columbus, Ohio.

This fight will be Arlovski’s last fight on his current contract, if he doesn’t resign with the UFC, he will be a free agent.

Can you say Fedor Emelianenko vs. Andrei Arlovski? Possibly

White said that popular heavyweight Andrei Arlovski would fight at UFC 82 on March 1 in Columbus, Ohio. He said the opponent isn’t certain but is likely to be Jake O’Brien. Arlovski hasn’t fought since a lackluster win over Fabricio Werdum in April in Manchester, England.

I don’t think Arlovski is very happy with the UFC and this is the last fight on his contract. I would like to see him to to M1 and mix it up with Fedor and Barnett.

I think Arlovski will take O’Brien, but don’t get your hopes up. Arlovski has had some injuries and hasn’t been all that impressive lately.

well his last fight he beat verdum and according to what i have heard verdum with one win in the ufc is up for a title shot.aa will leave the ufc and fight fedor.m1 could have aa randy barnett and fedor that would be a better h.w. line up than the ufc has.

It would be a better line up. Arlovski’s been around for a little while now and is in a little bit of a slump even though he won his last 2 fights. I think he is about due for an exciting fight. Hopefully he comes in pumped and makes a good fight out of this, we all know what O’Birian’s gameplan is going to be.
