UFC 81: Tyson Griffin vs Gleison Tibau

According to The Fight Network, a representative for Xtreme Couture has confirmed Tyson Griffin will take on Brazilian fighter Gleison Tibau at UFC 81 on Saturday, February 2 in Las Vegas.

UFC rising star Tyson Griffin (10-1) is coming of two huge wins over Thiago Tavares and Clay Guida. The 155lb. fighter has wins over Dwane Ludwig, David Lee, and current WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber.

Gleison Tibau (15-4) is coming in to this fight on a four fight wining streak. Tibau’s most recent loss was to UFC veteran Nick Diaz at UFC 65.

UFC 81 will be held on Saturday, February 2 at the Mandalay Event Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

    tyson will win but i am confused. He is awesome but he lways has clse fights. I want him to finish the fight this time.

    Yeah, sometimes I think he has the wrestlers mentality. But then again he has fought some tough guys especially Frankie Edgar…he had the guy in a full on knee bar, leg hyperextended, and Edgar held on and won the fight.
