Lesner did OK in his fight with Mir.
Once he starts to mix up his aresenal he will be a serious threat.
DO NOT underestimate this guy, he will be champion.

brocks a blue belt in bjj… he’s no expert but i think he has the tools to defend the submissions along with the fact hes so strong and he will wontrol mir on the ground. id love it if he knocked mir out standing and i could see it happen with the way a lot of people are praising his stand up and his power. the only way this fight is going to the ground is if brock wants it to i think hes way too strong for mir to pull gaurd it would be like assuerio silva when he tried to pull gaurd on big timmy. im not sayign the fight wont go to the ground im jsut saying its entirely up to brock to decide

I have to agree with keivon, Mir is a superior submission grapler and he know he has no chance to win standing. He will get the fight to the ground and put a kimora, arm bar or something of that sort on Lesnar to finish the fight. Mir is not the same as he used to be, but he has never been the biggest heavyweight thus he understands how to win being the smaller fighter. Lesnar has a chance if he can use his brute force to overpower Mir but in MMA the better grapler usually wins.

i think lesnar is under rated and will learn the mma game very quickly. i think he could be champ someday no doubt

Lesnar is a big fast can. I think he can win most HW because of his size. But Mir is a former champ and will get Lesnar in an ankle lock or something like that. I hope its not a quick fight because I’m paying for this Superbowl UFC which isn’t that great and I’m hoping the main events are good.
