UFC 78: David Tarrell Out, Joe Doerksen In
By CagE | November 4, 2007

The UFC has now confirmed that David Tarrell was forced to withdraw from his UFC 78 fight with Ed Herman due to a severe ankle injury suffered in training. Joe Doerksen will take the spot to fight Ed Herman on the main card at UFC 78 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Doerksen is actually a good replacement for David Tarrell. In 2004 Doerksen defeated Ed Herman by submission at Sportfight 7. It should be a great match up, both fighters like to stand up and bang.

why does doerkeson get a shot in the ufc again? he cant even win in the WEC. they need to bring Filho into the UFC and stop babying anderson giving him easy fights. He needs a true challenge like Dan Henderson or Frank Shamock or Robbie Lawler.

About the Lightweight poll, I would also add Frankie Edgar, that guy is good.
