  1. Ultimate47 says:

Wow!! Tim gets £200,000 for doing nothing AGAIN! I really can not believe that they Keep him on the books. Anderson Silva, champion, why the hell is he getting less. Its totally fucked. Surely if they are paying fighters to fill the seats, Anderson would get more than him, Silve should get about $5.

  2. I agree, I don't see why Tim gets 40% more pay than Anderson silva. How about Rich Franklin though? He gets a title shot and gets less than Brandon Vera? Obviously these guys have agents, so what gives?

  3. I wouldn't worry too much about those figures crynot. Dana knows that they will be posted on every blog and website out there. He purposely records Franklin as not making much to seem like he doesn't have favorites who make the top money in the UFC. Truthfully though, don't worry about Rich, he is making some good money and also has a lifetime guarantee that he will fight in the UFC as long as he chooses to.

  4. BULLSHIT, BULLSHIT, BULLSHIT Good bonuses to ensure max. effort, but shitty base pay. And how is a guy who gets 3k per fight supposed to not have to be employed elsewhere?

  5. It is bull especially when you can make 2 or 3K for much smaller shows that aren't even televised. UFC should give their fighters a 10K minimum. If they want to lowball someone then they can put in the contract that they will lose some of that base pay if they don't perform.

I agree these guys shouldn't have to work their part time jobs if they are in the big show. I know that in the last fight Black was working at a railroad station. Now in this fight is seemed like he was able to focus on training and it showed physically and with his performance.

  6. Great contract idea. Much more user friendly.

  7. Very dissapointed Dana White let fedor go to sign a circus act .

  8. I wouldn't say M-1 is a circus act.

The UFC re-juiced this sport and it has become the fastest growing thing around, obviously you are going to have organizations that pop up trying to compete and fall away.

But I think there will be companies like M-1 that are smart and business minded that will succeed. I see M-1 being a strong competitor – or the most anticipated fighter in the world would not have signed with him.

I see M-1 being the Target next to Wal-Mart.

  9. I can agree with that. And Pride fans should be happy, M1 is going to try to bring back the same rules and the same atmosphere.

  10. I like what m-1 is doing i just cant belive that the best fighter in the world is not going to compete with the best compition . m-1 is not the circus act Brock Lessner is.

  11. i think m-1 could be a good promotion if they can sign some more top level fighters. i hope they dont just build it around fedor and they give him top tier opponents.

  12. I think they will be forced to. Fedor does not want lay downs. He has gone through the toughest in the world, and has no need to ease up now.

  13. ironworker says:

Brock lesnar is not a circus act pal. Just watch he will go far-maybe not the belt but far.

  14. But how much do the ring girls make?
