UFC 75: Mirko Cro Cop vs. Cheick Kongo Confirmed

By CagE | June 27, 2007

mirko cro cop

In an appearance on ESPN “The Hot List”, UFC president Dana White officially confirmed that Mirko Cro Cop would be facing french mma fighter Cheick Kongo at UFC 75 in London England. Both top strikers should make for a very entertaining stand up war. The UFC is bringing some of its best fighters to London England, in an effort to establish it self in Europe. England has always been successful for the UFC and UFC 75 should not be any different. UFC 75: Champion vs. Champion is officially scheduled for September 8 at London’s O2 Arena. Others on the fight card include:

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Dan Henderson

Mirko Cro Cop vs. Cheick Kongo

Michael Bisping vs. Matt Hamill

I think Cro Cop is going to win. If we never saw his last fight people would be saying he would dominate Kongo, no question. Now people think he is weak, but he isn’t.

I thought Kongo was unstoppable until his loss to Morrero where he showed a few flaws in his game.

I agree with joe. Just because cro cop lost his last fight doesnt mean that he is weak now, I think he is going to come back a lot lot stronger. We all know its going to be a left high kick ko by the legend CRO COP.. Puno Srece heroju, bog.
