UFC 72: Ed Herman Dominates Scott Smith

Ed “Short Fuse” Herman pulls off a demanding win over Scott Smith at UFC 72 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. First round Herman slams Smith to the ground and lands stong punches and elbows to Smiths head. A huge gash opens up on Smith nose, referee stops the fight to have the doctor at ring side check him out. The fight continues with Ed Herman completely dominating the first round with his ground and pound. The second round starts with Smith securing a guillotine choke as Herman shoots for the take down. Herman escapes into Smiths guard and continues the barrage of elbows to Smiths face. The bloody Smith gives up his back letting Herman secure the Rear Naked Choke.
Ed Herman defeated Scott Smith by Submission (Rear Naked Choke) at 2:25 of the second round.
