Looks like it is set, Chuck Liddell will get the chance to avenge his loss to Quinton Jackson in Las Vegas for UFC 71. Sherdog.com reporting that Jackson’s manager confirms the fight is now set. The Jackson fight is the only loss Chuck Liddell has never avenged. Jackson’s contract was picked up by the UFC when they bought the troubled WFA. Some critics say that the UFC primarily bought the WFA to acquired Jackson.
In his last fight Jackson stated in the post fight interview that he felt a little rusty and nervous. He thought it would be good to fight one more tune up fight before Liddell, but the UFC had other plans.
Also, Chris Leben confirms he will fight Kalib Starnes at UFC 71. Leben stating on his myspace.com page that while the contract is not signed, he believes that he will be making his UFC comeback against Starnes.
