I like his confidence and I agree that he is getting better and will continue to get better but he is to one dimensional. He is a bjj purple belt and I have not seen him take anyone down. His takedown defense has been OK but GSP takes eveyone down. This is not a good match-up (based on skills and strengths) for Hardy. Yes he upset Swick but having that, Swick is not that good neither...so that is not saying much. Hey, don’t get me wrong, I like Hardy. When was the last time you saw GSP finish a fight early? thats not his style, he likes to grind his opponents down until they break. I am a huge Dan Hardy fan, i have followed his career over here in the UK and have been really impressed with his progression as a fighter. His BJJ is very underated. He is not at the same level as GSP but who is? I see GSP winning by decision or corner stoppage late in the fight.
