The UFC 108 curse continues, Sean Sherk suffered a cut over his right eye, forcing him out of his fight with Jim Miller. Veteran Colorado fighter Dwane “Bang” Ludwig will step up and take the fight on two weeks notice.

Sherk was forced off the card due to an inch long cut suffered over his right eye in training that required several stitches that would not come out until at least the middle of next week. [MMAWeekly]

This is Jim Millers third opponent. His first opponent Tyson Griffin was forced out with injury, Sherk came up from the undercard to replace.

Could to see Ludwig back in the big show. He is always exciting to watch. I believe he is a better fighter at 155. Not quite got the strength required for 170. His loss to Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley showed he wasn’t big enough for Welterweight.
