Comments

  1. that wouldnt be a good match up for Kongo

  2. a very good match up for him. Frank just has to get Kongo to the ground and its game over since he doesn't like the ground…

  3. Yeah right, Kongo is just as big and strong as Brock ok. He will pummel mir also. Just like vera and peda pano and those guys wernt as big as kongo

  4. kongo isnt as big and as strong as brock what kongo have u been watching kongo weighs about 240 and has no take down defence at all all he has is striking even franks bigger than kongo

  5. franks a lot bigger, has great jj skills..i love kongo but I see this ending in the first by a sub

  6. I don't think Frank can stand with kongo, and if kongo can get him on his back, yea mir will have the subs, but kongo has some deadly ground and pound…I like this match up, def want to see this fight if it works out

  7. Frank is NOT a lot bigger… hes 5lbs heavier and 1 inch smaller.

Frank has no chance standing with him… he should focus 100% on his takedowns.

Chieck should work on his takedown defence…. which he won't.

  8. BREAKING NEWS : Rumors have said that Dan Henderson will fight Vitor Belfort, instead of Rich Franklin at UFC 103. Rich Frankin will still fight that night against Tito Ortiz in the co-main event.

  9. that would be awsome zack, i hope it is true.

  10. Me too…It would be a hell of a lot better then Hendo/Franklin 2…Dana definitely needs to make this happen…

  11. that would be sweet zack, and if the fight stays standing it could be a blood bath, but if mirs smart he takes it too the mat and wins fairly easy

  12. dane drebin says:

kongo usually weighs about 230 pounds. he has a big upper body but like tim sylvia he walks on stilts. hes got chicken legs. mir by armbar, kneebar, choke… hell anything he wants so much as he doesnt get cracked in the face before getting it to the ground. kongo has a punchers chance but i think frank can whether the storm.

  13. Honestly do you guys still think that Mir is still a contender?? He barely beat a guy named Dan Christensen who is not even close to top 10. he submitted Antoni Hardonk who is a stand up guy and has no ground skills at all. Frank starts bragging because he beat a no ground fighter and a slugish big Nog. Franks done.

  14. Mir can still contend although i personally dont like him, this could be a break match for Mir, meaing if this fight happens if he wins it could salvage his title chances and if he loses well he is pretty much out of the picture for a few years.

  15. i know ths aint gonna happen anytime soon but i wanna see carwin kongo i think they would both stand and bang regardless of carwins wrestling skills

  16. Tim, but so what if he DOES salvage his title shot chances….. the only way mir wins a 3rd fight against Brock is if they let him bring in a sledgehammer and start 45 seconds before Brock does.

  17. LOL…funny…anyways its doesnt matter to me i was just pointing out that Mir can still contend but his chances are dwindling, i never said he would beat brock again.

  18. It must be HUGELY disappointing to know that even if you DO- get back to the top, mother-f#@king King Kong is just waiting there to knock you back down…..and if he's not….that means that someone WORSE is…..I would just hop back on my mo-ped if i were him….sans helmet…couldn't do any worse damage than his last fight.

  19. FRANK MIR SUCKS BOTTOM LINE. he does great against clowns like tank abbot, tim sylvia, dan christensen, hell i think frank could make himself look better by fighting shamrock or kimbo

  20. Now a Kimbo vs Mir match would be awesome! Either way some douche bag is gonna get his clock cleaned….well, Kimbo's more of a never was than a douche bag…but Mir?! That guys the frigging K-fed of the ufc!

  21. Did you see how weak Kimbo's chin was??? Seth hit him with a punch from about 6 inches away and it pretty much KO'd his ass…I've heard rumors that Kimbo got KO'd in his first fight in TUF against Wes Sims, but I've also heard a rumor that Kimbo KO'd Wes Sims in his first fight, so i really dont know which is true…

  22. other derek says:

Yeah i heard some of those rumors also………..I also heard that Wes Sims knocked him out at the house and he fell into the pool? Who really knows which one is true or if any are true.

  23. If Sims KO'd him into the pool and they have it on tape. That would be so f*ckin hilarious…

  24. other derek says:

yeah i know can't wait to see it. I think thats the one that sounds the most realistic because they say sims was the one who leaked this info and if he leaked info that he ko'd kimbo in a fight in the ring he would be sued big time and unable to fight for the ufc ever again. On the other hand if he leaked he just ko'd kimbo at the house I don't think he's in so much trouble, but ya never know?

  25. If he leaked that he did KO Kimbo and really didn't, he'll look like an even bigger douche then he already is now…I hope Sims is tellin the truth, that would be awesome, if that really happened…

  26. other derek says:

    he'll always be a douche

  27. Yeah, i've hated him since he illegally stomped on Mir head in their first fight. Even though it was pretty funny and Mir is a douche that i hate as well. Sims was like a wild beast or something, it was funny to watch him freak out after the ref DQ'd his ass. I think Sims is f*ckin crazy.

  28. If Kongo can really work his takedown defense, he'll kick Mir's ass…

  29. other derek says:

yeah lol there's another fight with him when he attacked a ref when the ref said he tapped and he said he didn't or something along those lines so he kicked the ref……….he's definitely a coconut!

  30. There is no way Kongo can keep up with Mir. Mir is better in every aspect. He was even beating Brock in stand-up and Brock would destroy Kongo

  31. First off thanks for adjusting a difference to your name so its not to confuse us…

Mir was beating Brock in stand up? WTF…what fight were you watching Tim2, come one Mir didnt land one punch…the whole fight was Mir on his stomach taking shot after shot from Lesnar…the only offense he had was two knees to the head which dazzed lesnar but you saw how quickly Lesnar took Mir down and beat his ass…

  32. other derek says:

    i agree Tim

  33. I think Kongo this definitely better then Mir in the stand up. But Mir is probably better every where else…Mir landed one decent elbow and one knee against Brock in hteir fight. It hurt Brock a lil bit, but he slammed Mir down a couple seconds laters and pounded the sh*t out of him. I'm not sure who will win this fight. But, if Kongo can keep the fight standing, I think he has a really good shot to win by KO or TKO…

  34. yeah if mir can get him down it should be his fight, this is probally the last decent named fighter mir could beat but i still not sure he will.mir has to get him to the ground and i think kongo might be able to avoid a few take downs and hopefully rock mir.kongo has gotten a little better with his takedown defense but even though i think mir sucks he has gotten alot bigger and in better shape witch should help him in taking kongo down. this one is kind of a toss up for me.

  35. I think Mir underestimated Brock and was to cocky. You should always take your opponents seriously. and for some reason Frank looked like he was high in that fight. did he overtrain? something was missing. Or is Brock just too good?
