If he doesn't have much or any standup training, chances are he hasn't been knocked around much. He probably doesn't have a strong chin. So when he does go up against a standup guy, that guy will be able to pick him apart with jabs. As long as he has good take down defense he can be just as unstoppable. Not to mention his chin. I hate seeing BJJ guys fight b/c they beat someone shitty and the ufc gives them a B lvl fighter that has takedown defense and the BJJ guy just tries to pull guard while running away and BJJ scooting.
