Mercer might be old, but he will whip Tim’s ass. I cant see any commission approving that match for boxing, kind of not fair for Mercer, he gave the advantage to Kimbo when the fought in MMA. If this fight happens Tim will just become another highlight film for Mercer like Morrission is.

exactly steve said just wat i was thinking sylvia would destroy mercer in an mma match everybody with half a brain knows that. taking sylvias ability to shove people into the fence and bully them and taking away his kicks and knees is what makes this fight interesting. mercer used to be a good boxer and im sure he still hit very hard. but comparing kimbos mma fight with mercer to a boxing match is stupid for sure.

That coment shows how unknowing you are about mma and boxing news lol. Mercer and Kimbo had an mma fight. Not boxing. So if Tim loses to Mercer it makes no difference in Kimbo beating Mercer in mma and says nothing about how good Tim Sylvia is at mma fighting. It just means that a veteran boxer beat Tim. Nothing more and nothing less. Dont mean to be rude either.

Does anyone really care about this fight one way or the other? And to further the point, Tim’s boxing was pretty sucky as for a pro boxer would think. I bet old man mercer might have a chance. BUT with that being said, I STILL wouldn’t pay to see that crap.

The Klitschko brothers would whip him. Either of them. Look what Fedor did to him. Just imagine what a guy tims weight would do if he was better at every category of boxing. That is what would happen if he stepped in with a world class boxer in a boxing match.
