The Ultimate Fighter Season 10 Cast Annouced

Today the UFC and SpikeTV announced the full cast the 10th season of The Ultimate Fighter reality show. This season features some know fighters – street fighter Kimbo Slice, 4 former NFL Players (Wes Shivers, Brendan Schaub, Marcus Jones and Matt Mitrione) and the former IFL heavyweight champion – Roy Nelson.

Zak Jenson – standout wrestler at Augsburg College
Marcus Jones – former 1st round NFL draft pick who had a six-year career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Scott Junk – Division II All-American football player at Southwest Oklahoma State and fought in UFC 76.
James McSweeney – former international kickboxing and Muay Thai champion
John Madsen – defeated Brock Lesnar in a high school wrestling match
Matt Mitrione – played for New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings
Roy Nelson – former IFL Heavyweight Champion
Demico Rogers – high school football and wrestling star
Brendan Schaub – played for Buffalo Bills and Arena Football’s Utah Blaze
Darrill Schoonover – decorated Army veteran
Wes Shivers – former member of the Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons
Wes Sims- fought two heated battles with former UFC champ Frank Mir at UFC 43 and UFC 46
Kimbo Slice – former EliteXC heavyweight contender and YouTube sensation
Abe Wagner – played linebacker at Michigan Tech and has a degree in mechanical engineering
Mike Wessel – UFC veteran and former strength and conditioning coach at University of Arkansas
Justin Wren – high school All-American wrestler

    kimbo looks short here. he’s going to have trouble with some of those tall guys in the back.

    Seems the usual TUF motto of take some young fighter and give him a chance to make it into the UFC has turned into, take some has been football players and some people that have been in the UFC and give them all a chance (or second chance in some cases). Sounds like a bunch of crap. I am sure there is some marketing ploy I am missing. Maybe we could get football to be a team type UFC event, team on team at the same time, team with the last guy standing wins, that would be good to watch.

    i think this will be the best TUF yet. they got some real potentials here, aside from kimbo of course. i would love to see kimbo vs ben rothwell. that will be a pure slugfest.

    I agree with Tazke. I liked TUF better when they were no name fighters. It used to be about giving the lesser known guys a shot.

    This season is going to be a train wreck….. how’s the show gonna be able to afford to feed these guys?

    Junk is the toughest guy there for sure. That guy takes a lickin and always keeps moving forward. Very hard to stop and insane cardio for a 265 pounder.

    This season will be the best yet! Demico Rogers is the one to watch for, that guy is a monster!
