The Proof: Chuck Liddell Injures Hamstring
By CagE | April 22, 2008
Now its official, the ultimate fighting championships announced today that Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell has torn his hamstring and will not be competing at UFC 85.
“Unfortunately, Chuck Liddell tore his right hamstring during training last week, and being the warrior that he is, he still wanted to fight, which is the reason why everyone in the world loves him,” said Dana White, UFC President. “But I wouldn’t let anyone fight with his leg looking that way. Let him heal and come back and fight when he is 100 percent.”

i don’t think chuck would ever back out of a fight unless it was serious so i wouldn’t even need proof from him. especially since he wants to fight rashad and get a title shot. i wonder how they will replace this fight?

i heard rumors of irvin to replace him or bisbing vs leben since bisbing is a big draw there but none of it would add up to chuck.and thats what a torn hamstring looks like.

i agree with that roy, but i think bisping vs. leben would be a decent fight to add.
